A coach that actually watches.
Prop up your phone. Svaya counts every rep, scores your form, and shows you the range, tempo and stability of each one — from the camera you already own.

How it works
Three steps
Prop up your phone
Svaya tells you exactly where to stand — facing it, side on, or at an angle — then confirms when it can actually see enough of you. You don't have to guess, and you can skip the setup at any point.
Lift
Reps count themselves. Range, tempo, heart rate and form log as you go. At the end of the set Svaya asks you to confirm the count — so when it gets one wrong, the record doesn't.
See what actually happened
Not just eight reps at 100kg. Which rep you started cutting depth on, what your form did across the set, and how the week compares to the last one.
The app itself.

Already written
Open it and the session is there — built from your goals and the kit at the place you're training today.

What that set actually did
Ten reps, and the depth and tempo of each one. It noticed the slow-down from rep six and said so.

Not one line per set
Three sets, thirty reps, each one against the level of the set it belongs to. This is the part a logbook cannot show you.

Where this is going
Week two of twenty-seven. It tells you when you're on schedule, and when you aren't.

Every session, scored
Not just that you trained — how the form actually held up, session by session.

The shape of a year
Volume across every month you've trained, and the lifts that moved.

Every rep, not just the set.
Rep by rep
Most apps record a set as one line: eight reps, one hundred kilos, done. Svaya records eight reps.
Open any set you've ever done and you get each rep on its own — how deep it went, how long it took, how steady it was. Which is how you find out that your last two reps have been quietly getting shallower for a month.
Your logbook can't tell you that. It only knows what you typed.
| rep | range | tempo | steady |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 97% | 3.1s | ok |
| 2 | 96% | 3.0s | ok |
| 3 | 98% | 3.2s | ok |
| 4 | 94% | 3.4s | ok |
| 5 | 91% | 3.6s | ok |
| 6 | 88% | 3.9s | ok |
| 7 | 74% | 4.4s | drift |
| 8 | 71% | 4.6s | drift |
Depth fell away from rep 7. Same weight, same set, different exercise by the end.
What it does
Under the hood
Reps, read from the camera
Pose tracking runs on your phone, many times a second — nothing is sent away to be analysed. Most counters watch one thing move; Svaya also checks that the things which should have stayed still, did. That's the difference between counting a rep and counting you shifting your weight.
Scored, not guessed at
Every exercise carries its own checkpoints — depth, knee path, torso angle, whatever that lift actually demands. You get a score for the set built from every rep in it, not from one lucky frame.
Three ways, one of them free
Wear an Apple Watch, sync any strap through Apple Health — or wear nothing at all, and let Svaya read your heart rate from the same camera that's counting your reps. Readings tie to the set you're in. The camera method is a guide, not a medical measurement.
Yours, or your trainer's
Svaya builds you a plan from your goals, your experience and the equipment at each place you train — then adjusts it week to week based on what the camera actually saw. Working with a trainer? Theirs wins, always.
The things you'd miss
Form trending down on one lift. Volume drifting. Your left side doing less work than your right for a month. Svaya watches the trend across sessions and tells you which one is worth acting on.
Video never leaves
Camera frames are analysed on your phone and discarded immediately — we never see your gym, or you in it. What syncs is the skeleton: the numeric positions of your joints, plus your reps, timing and heart rate. Never video. Never audio.

Every quotation is taken from that company’s own website or App Store listing, checked on 21 August 2026, and each name links to the page it came from. “Not claimed” means exactly that — the product does not advertise the feature. It is not a statement that it cannot do it. Products change; if we have something out of date, tell us and we’ll fix it.
And a real coach still beats every line of this for the sessions they’re in the room for. The gap is the other five days — which is why Svaya reports to your trainer rather than around them.
Wherever you actually train.
Coverage
Save the places you train and what's in them. The rack and the bar at the gym; a kettlebell and two bands at home. Svaya writes the session against the equipment that's really there, and swaps an exercise out when it isn't.
Movements it can't read from a phone angle are marked as manual rather than faked, and they stay in the same session record. Honest gaps beat invented numbers.
- 916 exercises — 719 of them counted from the camera
- Compounds, accessories, bodyweight and core
- Several training locations, each with its own kit
- One-tap substitution when the rack is taken
If you coach people
For trainers
You see your client twice a week. Svaya covers the other five days — and reports back honestly, which is more than most training logs manage.
You'd be prescribing against real numbers for once. Not what they remembered on Monday, but what their own camera recorded: completed sets, actual reps, where range started falling off, how form moved over six weeks.
Your clients stay your clients. Svaya doesn't market to them, doesn't sell them other programs, and doesn't try to replace you. It's the instrument, not the coach.

Questions
Before you ask
Do I need special equipment?
A phone and something to lean it against. Nothing else. If you own an Apple Watch or a heart-rate strap that writes to Apple Health, Svaya will use it — and if you don't, it can estimate your heart rate from the camera instead.
Is my video recorded or uploaded?
No. Camera frames are analysed on your phone and discarded immediately — we never see your gym, or you in it. What does get saved is the skeleton those frames produce: the numeric positions of your joints, along with your reps, timing and heart rate. Never video, never audio. The privacy policy spells this out in full, including how to export or delete all of it.
Which exercises does it handle?
The library runs to 916 movements, and 719 of them are counted from the camera — squat, bench, deadlift, press and row through to accessory and core work. Anything Svaya can't read from a phone angle is marked as manual rather than faked, and it still lands in the same session record.
What if it counts wrong?
It asks. At the end of every set Svaya puts the count in front of you and you confirm or correct it, and your number is the one that gets saved. When it isn't confident about a set it says so rather than pretending. No other app we know of asks the question, which is the reason most of them can't tell you how accurate they are.
Does it work in a busy gym?
It tracks the person it set up on and copes with a limb passing out of view. Awkward angles and crowded frames are the hard case — which is exactly why the count is always yours to confirm before it's saved.
Do I need a trainer to use it?
No. Svaya builds your program itself — from your goals, your experience and the kit you have — and adjusts it as you go. The trainer connection is there if you have one, not a requirement.
Where can I get it?
At launch, Svaya is available in the United States, India and Canada, on iPhone and Android. More countries after that — join the waitlist and we'll tell you when yours is one of them.
When does it launch?
It's in development now. Join the waitlist and we'll email you when there's a build worth your time — not before.
